Quality System Policy

Mirfak Pty Ltd is a supplier of food safe, high quality, cleaned seeds, grains, flours and other associated products for human consumption.

We aim to supply product that meets our customers specifications and regulatory requirements.

We are committed to ensuring food safe, high quality produce and have implemented a quality system based upon the SQI HACCP FSS which is underpinned by the CODEX Alimentarius Commission Hazard Analysis Critical Control Points (HACCP).

The managment team and all employees of Mirfak Pty Ltd understand the requirements of our quality system and are working hand-in-hand with us to ensure that we meet our product specification and achieve what we set out to do.

Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP) Procedures:

GMP underpins everything that is done at Mirfak Pty Ltd. GMP are utilised to ensure that product quality and safety are maintained throughout the process. They are not intended to replace other existing procedures or commonsense but rather to compliment the total managment process.

Sampling and Testing Procedures:

Mirfak Pty Ltd conducts daily product sampling as part of:

GMP procedues
Sampling and Labelling Procedures
HACCP
Quality Assurance

Daily Samples of all product are taken, recorded, approved and stored by the Quality Assurance Manager.

Taking Daily Samples of every product being manufactured enforces high Quality Assurance for all customers.

The Daily Samples allow the inspection of the production process and the end product to ensure:

it is up to specification
to check the machines are working effectively
to check labelling and stacking is corect
that customer expectations are being met
that the highest level of Quality Assurance is being maintained

Mirfak Pty Ltd - Recall Procedure

If any produce/product becomes contaminated or is suspected of being unfit for human consumption it must be recalled. Food recall removes the produce/product from sale that may be unsafe and warms customers of a potential health risk.

It is the responsibility of Mirfak Pty Ltd to:

Identify suspect product
Authorise the product recall
Notify customers and local council authorities
Investigation of problem
Recovery of product
Biannual review of recall procedures
Update recall information
Keep and maintain a log of events
